Los Angeles artist Haylie Davis has released new song, “Country Boy,” the singer/songwriter’s heartfelt ballad available today, via Fire Records and DSPs. “Country Boy” is an aching lament to lost outsiders confronted by the big city; in some ways, an answer to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” that resonates like an outtake from Linda Ronstadt’s classic Silk Purse, complete with a wailing steel guitar.

Davis dedicates the track to all the country boys from the Midwest and Southern US states that left their lives behind to come to the city of angels in California, which she also calls home.  recorded live in one take, it perfectly highlights Davis’ vocal unique vocals and storytelling.

Haylie Davis is a Los Angeles-based artist beginning a release campaign with Fire Records for her debut album, scheduled for 2026. For her debut full-length, Davis ventures into the world of rock n’ roll and pop while still touching on past influences from country and folk.
