“Cold Medicine” By Haunted Horses

Haunted Horses have shared a new video for “Cold Medicine”. The band is comprised of Myke Pelly, Colin Dawson, and most recently, the the addition of Seattle-based bassist Brian McClelland of Filth is Eternal and He Whose Ox is Gored. Over past few years, Haunted Horses have shared the stage with Lingua Ignota, Portrayal of Guilt, A Place to Bury Strangers, Bambara, and Boy Harsher. Haunted Horses will appeal to fans of Swans, Girl Band, Death Grips, The Soft Moon, Einstürzende Neubauten Ho99o9, Uniform, and more. “Cold Medicine” is off Haunted Horses’ forthcoming release The Worst Has Finally Happened, available July 29, via vinyl via Three One G Records (Deaf Club, Dead Cross, The Locust, Cattle Decapitation).

The Worst Has Finally Happened continues in the band’s approach to music as a battering ram into the brain, Sounds sway from mechanical heartbeat thumps and the delay-drenched beeping of echolocation radar devices tracking down a potential victim in “Swarms,” to something resembling an alarm signifying Chernobyl-strength a nuclear meltdown in “Thorns.” Everything feels perfectly orchestrated to leave the listener on edge. It’s hard to tell if Haunted Horses’ music is meant for the hunter or the hunted, but either way, it holds on tight, sinks its claws in and doesn’t let up.
