Cloth are today sharing new single “Pink Silence”, The track is lifted from the album of the same name, available April 25th via Rock Action (Mogwai). Today’s new single features guitar and synth from Adrian Utley and guitar from Stuart Braithwaite.

The Glasgow-based twin-sibling duo’s comprised of (Rachael and Paul Swinton) was Produced by Ali Chant (Perfume Genius, PJ Harvey, Yard Act), new song ‘Pink Silence’ follows recent singles “Polaroid”, “Golden” and “Stuck”. The LP is their Follow-up to their previous LP Secret Measure.

Paul Swinton comments on the new single: “The term ‘Pink Silence’ is something I came up with to describe a particular time and feeling – those moments late in the evening or very early in the morning, when the sun is rising or setting. Depending on your mindset at a given time, those moments can either feel blissfully serene, or charged with a sense of foreboding. Those times are always beautiful, but the experience of them can be very different, especially if your mind is awash with overthinking – as mine often is. I really liked the idea that something so natural and beautiful could have such an emotional duality to it. The intimacy of those moments also tend to feel supercharged when shared with another person, so it felt right for the song to be a love story – one which plays out from dusk until dawn against the backdrop of pink silence.”
