Emilie Wiebel on “I’m Here”:
“I’m Here” is about the existential and identity challenges one can face when living far from home. It’s about someone trying to find a place and legitimacy in a foreign country only to realize that at the end, the most important is the people they love back home.”
Clebs was born from a shared interest in improvisation and off-kilter club music. Emilie has spent her time in New York honing her skills as a vocalist, mentored by acclaimed modern jazz vocalist Sara Serpa as well as performing with Shelley Hirsch, Adam Rudolph, and JASS alumni Ari Finkel, and via her solo alias oMoO. In addition to Bear In Heaven and Helado Negro, has had a hand in Olga Bell, and performs solo as So Ghost.
