23-year-old Australian born Christina Parie has been performing since she was a child and survived being put through the ringer of the music industry beginning at age 14 when she went on a singing contest show and signed to Warner. After dropping out of school to tour and record, she was let go from her record deal at age 18 and donned a blonde wig so she could make money singing in bars til she saved up enough to come to the U.S., got her rock ‘n roll heart beating again, and started writing the songs coming out in Chapters 1-3.

Christina Castle has shared her new track “Crazy Lover” featuring Gangsta Boo. When talking about the track Christina says, “I wrote this song for anyone who has been lied to and cheated on. Being betrayed hurts and this song was my breaking point. It’s a warning to whoever crosses my path next…” Gangsta Boo added, “Ladies you know when you get fed up? Tired of being lied to, cheated on, manipulated and used? Give me or my girl Christina Castle a call. And Fellas let us be great. Just sing along!”

From Christina Castle:

“Ladies you know when you get fed up? Tired of being lied to, cheated on, manipulated and used? Give me or my girl Christina Castle a call!” Gangsta Boo added, speaking to the tidal wave of a fuck-you vibe this song embodies. “And Fellas, let us be great. Just sing along!”

Upon coming to LA, Christina immediately found herself in the whirlwind she’d longed to be in, collaborating with artists like Travis Barker and Linda Perry, who helped bring out a more raw side of her musically. “I had never been completely honest in my songwriting before by writing about what was actually going on around me,” she says. “Chapter 1 is that. There was no sitting around wondering what the concept should be. It was me and my piano looking back so I could move forward.”

Christina also toured the country as backup singer and keyboardist for Mikey Mike, as well as opening for Yelawolf, Max Frost, and more. She debuted her live show at Madam Siam in Los Angeles, performing songs off Chapters 1 and 2 and was joined onstage by Gangsta Boo for a ferocious, room-shaking performance of “Crazy Lover.”
