Chet Faker Premieres New Video for “Gold”

Chet Faker Premieres New Video for "Gold", announces additional shows in North America, starting August 23rd in Los Angeles, CA at FYF Festival

With the release of his debut full length album Built On Glass (Downtown Records/Future Classic) 2014 has proven to be been a busy year for the man. He also has just released his latest video for current single “Gold.” The eerie video directed by Hiro Murai plays upon the idea of desire and dysfunction featuring siren-like rollerskaters on a dark highway coaxing the viewer to the end of the line. See the video below.

An artist of considerable range, Chet Faker—the name taken by the Melbourne-born singer and producer Nick Murphy—writes, performs and records all of his own music, giving it a warm, homespun feel that also sounds like one of the world’s sultriest bands cranking at full steam.

Faker just wrapped his North America headline tour in support of Built On Glass in June and has announced additional North American tour dates including a show at New York’s Webster Hall and slot at Los Angeles’ FYF Fest.
