London, England’s Cheatahs have released another track, “Su-pra,” from their upcoming release, Mythologies, the album comes out October 30th, via Wichita Recordings.

The band, which unfortunately had to cancel their CMJ dates due to visa delays, is scheduled to perform next in Cambridge, MA this Tuesday, October 20th. Cheatahs’ North American dates run throughout the rest of October and early November before they head back to the UK for a run of shows to finish out that month.

Hinted at earlier this year with the release of a pair of interim EPs, “Su-pra” sees Cheatahs in a more experimental mode, where a krautrock-infused rhythm forms the bedrock of a blissful sonic journey. As the band’s Nathan Hewitt explains, “The song started with a looping keyboard line that James brought in, and we built it up from there. The lyrics are made up of one long word, broken up into eight sections. Supraphysiological means having too much of a particular substance in the body – which is how this song makes me feel.”
