Charlotte Day Watson announces new album “Patchwork”

Charlotte Day Wilson announces her new project Patchwork, which will arrive February 6th via Stone Woman Music / XL Recordings. Alongside the announcement arrives a new single, “If Only”. Lyrically, “If Only” explores themes of vulnerability and longing for holding onto moments that feel just out of reach, its subtle chorus adding emotional weight to a minimalist arrangement.
Wilson enters a new creative chapter with Patchwork, a project shaped by imperfection, instinct, and emotional honesty. Originally conceived as demos during a moment of self-doubt, the songs revealed themselves as complete in their rawness, embracing vulnerability over polish as both ethos and sound. Following her return with last year’s singles “Selfish” and “High Road”, Wilson kicked off 2026 with “Lean,” featuring Saya Gray, expanding her sonic world with renewed intimacy and emotional precision. Singles “High Road” and “Selfish”, both co-written and co-produced by Saya Gray, Ace G, and Braden Sauder.
Wilson has been sampled by Drake, John Mayer, and James Blake and more, and has collaborated with Kaytranada, BADBADNOTGOOD, Syd, Ouri, and a recent arena tour with Giveon. With Patchwork, Wilson reframes her journey as a nonlinear collection of moments – stitched together with intention, honesty, and restraint.
