Chanel Beads have released their rework of LEYA’s “Corners,” the lead single from their recent EP, I Forget Everything. The track arrives alongside DIY co-directed music video starring model Mariah Morvant, as both artists tour in support of their 2024 releases.

Reflecting on the track, Chanel Beads’ Shane Lavers shared: “When Maya McGrory and I moved to New York City, LEYA were our heroes. Their music takes control of the stage and focuses the room in a way no one else could. Reworking this song I tried to make something that felt like the moments before and after their sets. Like anticipating something and then wondering where it went. Zachary Paul added additional violin and Maya sings with me. Every idea we tried recording on this track was used in some way.”

Chanel Beads’ debut album, Your Day Will Come, is a snapshot of modern existence—frontman Shane Lavers’ bold foray into experimental pop, blending lo-fi synth textures, live instrumentation, and evocative vocals. Released last April via Jagjaguwar,

Fresh off a national tour—including support from prolific New York multi-instrumentalist More Eaze and an appearance at the renowned Big Ears Festival in Knoxville—Chanel Beads will play a special headline show at 99 Scott in Brooklyn before heading abroad this summer for select dates and festivals in the UK and Europe.

LEYA hit the road, starting April 8th in Kingston, NY, select dates with Circuit des Yeux and Deli Girls, and a newly announced New York date on May 16, where they’ll join YHWH Nailgun and DJ E. Their international tour includes support from Vanessa Bedoret.
