Career Suicide Stream Album Ahead of Release

Career Suicide Stream Album Ahead of Release, the full-length comes out on February 24th via Deranged Records.

Hardcore punk band Career Suicide Formed in 2001, the group was founded by vocalist Martin Farkas and guitarist Jonah Falco (who splits his time as drummer of Fucked Up). “Retaining a fiercely independent and DIY approach, they now sit alongside the Viletones, Nomeansno, Teenage Head, Pointed Sticks, DOA, and SNFU as one of Canada’s best punk bands.” says Noisey of the band, adding “They are certainly the greatest to have taken the fast and furious sounds of 80s hardcore and made it their own.”

Writhing, sneering, tight cornered Machine Response is the only acceptable follow up album to the blistering Attempted Suicide. Machine Response veers in and out of pure speed, bursts of melody, and chunky tempo shifts, indenting the long standing influence of early 80s USHC, late 70s punk, and a peppering of 60s swagger, with their own clearly developed style. NPR says “its just as reckless as ever.”

Dallas Good (Sadies, Andre Williams, John Doe, Half Japanese, Elevator and a million more) presents a magnificently essential 2nd guitar and lead presence on the forthcoming LP, and a thundering recording was once again helmed by the decorated and limitless in his pursuit of smooth hearing loss, Jon Drew.
