Candide Announces Debut EP “Don’t You Go”

Candide Announce The Release of Their Debut EP

The American duo Candide recently announced the release of their debut EP, Don’t You Go, on June 24th via Zappruder Records. Along with the announcement, they also released the dark-disco pop track “Scaredy Cat” which can be heard above.

Candide is a synth-pop duo, consisting of Candice Strongwater and Adam Brodsky, that was formed in Brooklyn. Influenced by the electronic music scene of Berlin, the musicians took to recording their own electro-dance music in NYC and the result of that is the upcoming debut album. The Don’t You Go EP also features remixes from Brooklyn acts AIMES and Rush Midnight as well as previously unreleased tracks “Work Hard” and “Bit.” The band has recently performed with acts such as Foxes, Wet, Black Marble, UUMANS, Houses, White Prism, Gavin Russom, Jamaican Queens and Big Spider’s Back among many others.

On June 19th, Candide is scheduled to perform at the Glasslands Gallery with Painted Palms and Saint Pepsi in Brooklyn, NY. Find the tracklisting for the debut release below.
