Broken Records return with EP 'Toska' On 3/24, followed by a short run of UK live dates, which will start on February 20th in Aberdeen, UK.

 

Following on from their second album Let Me Come Home, Broken Records will release their upcoming EP ‘Toska’ on March 24th, followed by a short run of UK live dates.

Produced by Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Delgados, Belle & Sebastian),  the ‘Toska’ EP is a body of work that revisits  the first album while combining the intense, relentlessly aggressive and turbulent sound of the last. Broken Records have released through indie labels including 4AD (who released both previous albums) and other releases include Young Turks, Fandango, and Distiller Records. They have toured in the past with bands, The National and Freelance Whales.

Broken Records are Jamie Sutherland (vocals, piano), Rory Sutherland (violin, guitar, accordion), Ian Turnbull (guitar, piano, accordion),Dave Smith (piano, trumpet), Craig Ross (guitar, bass) and Andrew Keeney (drums).

Broken Records  are set to release their third album ‘Weights and Pulleys’ in May 2014.

20th Feb – Cellar 35, Aberdeen 

14th April – King Tuts, Glasgow 

15th April -Sebright Arms, London 

16th April – The Wardrobe, Leeds
