After announcing their full North American tour starting off in New York this May, Breakbot have shared a colorful visual companion to “My Toy” directed by the French collective AB/CD/CD.

The directors share, “We’ve wanted to work with Breakbot for a while now. ‘My Toy’ was eventually the right project: ambitious and very creative. ‘My Toy’ is about an object-man manipulated, by a woman’s goodwill. We liked this story from the basis! We went for a very literal adaptation: nowadays, what’s the ideal object-man? It’s a robot. We started describing the making of a male robot in a world only made of women.”

Breakbot also dished on the creation of the video, “We’re very happy to share the ‘My Toy’ music video. The result goes beyond our expectations…The video is very true to the storyboard created by the directors, and the sensual energy coming out of it will delight.”
