The Underground Youth have dropped new single “Bottled Time.” The Berlin band’s track Follows recent their recent release ‘O ’Evangeline’ ft: Sade Sanchez of L.A. Witch.

The Underground Youth’s Craig Dyer says: “I recently composed the soundtrack for a short film titled ‘Die Schöne Blüte’, due to be released in the coming year. ‘Bottled Time’ was one of the pieces I wrote for the film and it lingered with me for days and weeks after it was written and recorded. I asked the film’s director, Marvin Delhaes, if he would object to me releasing the track as a standalone single and he was delighted that his film had inspired me to create something I was so personally taken with. So here’s ‘Bottled Time’, a first taste from the world of ‘Die Schöne Blüte’, coming soon in its entirety.”

The Underground Youth was Initially formed as a solo project by Blackpool-born, Berlin-based musician and author Craig Dyer in 2008 – currently joined by drummer and visual artist Olya Dyer, guitarist Leonard Kaage and bassist Samira Zahidi – The Underground Youth have released twelve studio albums (most recently, last year’s ‘Décollage’) and 4 EPs, evolving a unique sound that has over the years ranged from cinematic lo-fi psychedelia and raw melancholic post-punk, through to gothic folk-noir and trip-hop-infused atmospherics. Throughout, they have maintained a devoted global following continuously built upon by the band’s extensive touring through Europe, North America and Asia
