Bones UK Guest On ‘Records In my Life’

Bones UK, play with an entirely uncontainable sound, vocalist Rosie Bones and guitarist Carmen Vandenberg confront everything from the beauty industrial complex to toxic masculinity to music-scene sexism. In Forging that sound, Rosie and Carmen collaborated with producer Filippo Cimatti, Who shaped the album’s kinetic textures with lavish use of electronic bass. Matched by Carmen’s inventive guitar work and Rosie’s unique vocal styles — an instrument that goes from menacing to tender—the result is a bold new sonic world. The duo were hand picked by Howard Stern, to cover David Bowie’s “I’m Afraid OF Americans.”
