The group recently released their new single “Bitcoin Takes A Hit.” The track is off their forthcoming debut album Get Fluffy, out later this year.

In an effort to make releasing music as fun as creating it, CVCHE (pronounced “Ceviche”) have also launched their very own memecoin $FLUFFY and have unveiled a new, playable level in their custom-designed videogame to coincide with the release of the new single. To play the game where you guide CVCHE’s pixelated fish mascot and spiritual leader Fluffy through landscapes synced with the band’s music on a mission to save his reef. “We believe we’re the first band to do this,” continue CVCHE on the videogame, which can be paused to skip between levels and tracks. “But we also believed in crypto, so… you be the judge.”

“Bitcoin Takes A Hit” follows the recent release of CVCHE’s singles “Welcome To CVCHE,” “Eyes of Darkness,” and “Get Fluffy” which were created using a large collection of analog, vintage synthesizers from the band’s tiny sovereign nation in Canada where the only club in town is your own waxed floor.

First coming together in 2022 to remix Metric’s “All Come Crashing,” CVCHE began organically at Jimmy Shaw’s hideaway on a river in the Canadian countryside, a place which quickly became known for creative hangs, good food, great music, and its enviable “sock jams.” Inspired to make their own brand of techno during a “sock jam” session – sliding around in big socks on a slippery wood floor to the downbeat techno of The Field, Jon Hopkins, and Boards of Canada, CVCHE began work on their upcoming debut album Get Fluffy.
