“Bitch” by Hannah Grae

“Writing ‘Bitch’ felt like the start of something new for me. For the first time I could hear the artist I wanted to be. I’m dramatic, theatrical, self-assured and self-deprecating all at once, and I’d never quite managed to weave all those parts of me into my music. Bitch was when it clicked. It’s a song about jealousy and the way I compare myself to people around me. I wanted to write a song that could dig its teeth into one of my biggest flaws and wave it around like a giant red flag. It isn’t glamorous to admit you hate someone because they have what you want, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth writing about. This song unlocked a version of me that finally feels like myself. That’s the version you’ll be hearing from now on.”
Grae has played across the UK and Europe, including performances at Glastonbury, 2000Trees Festival, The Great Escape, Neighbourhood Weekender, Liverpool Sound City, Standon Calling Festival, Rock En Seine (Paris), Sziget Festival (Budapest), Mad Cool Festival (Madrid), Pukkelpop Festival (Belgium), Reading & Leeds Festival, and All Points East to name a few.
