Dazy is back with double/single, “BIG Problem b/w Gravity,” now available via Lame-O Records. The Richmond, VA-based artist is heading out on a run of North American dates supporting Sleaford Mods.

“BIG Problem b/w Gravity” is the latest entry of a steady stream of Dazy singles, EPs, and collaborations (including with Militarie Gun and Bodysync). The singles follow last year’s Bad Penny EP. Written, performed, recorded, and–for the first time–even mixed entirely by James Goodson–then mastered by Zach Wish.

“I think at the end of the day I pretty much make singer-songwriter music,” explains Goodson. “It’s usually just simple chord progressions and vocal melodies, but I like the idea of taking those fundamentals and finding ways to bend the presentation. I feel like the more I try to change things up, the more I sort of discover the true constants of my own songwriting, the things that make it sound like me whether it’s in the context of big distorted guitars or samples–or hopefully anything.”
