Big Business announce new album

Big Business announce new album 'Command Your Weather,' share single "Father's Day."

Big Business has announced the release of its fifth studio album, Command Your Weather, due out July 8th as a co-release between Joyful Noise Recordings and the band’s own Gold Metal Records.

Command Your Weather sees Big Business return to its original two-man lineup of Jared Warren & Coady Willis, who also have ties to other notable bands: both are current members of the Melvins, Willis is an original member of The Murder City Devils and plays in the all-drumming project Hew Time (with Dale Crover and Joe Plummer), and Warren played in KARP. Check out the lead single “Father’s Day” below via Soundcloud.

Founded in Seattle in 2003, Big Business has spent the past thirteen years making records and touring the world. With Jared on bass and Coady on drums, their sound is big, loud, and chaotic, with songs that hit listeners head-on like a bombastic low end attack. Recorded in Joshua Tree, CA, Command Your Weather is an album about the struggle for dominance of will over the power and unpredictability of nature…or it’s just a really great rock record (it depends on how weird you’re willing to get.)
