The Album Leaf have shared a new music video for the title track from their forthcoming Relapse debut Between Waves, set for an August 26th release date. The vocal-driven album closer has been paired with sweeping, footage in the Michael Raines-directed video, premiering via Nowness and now viewable on YouTube. Additionally, Jimmy LaValle and company have announced a full US tour kicking off this September in support of the new album, where Sister Crayon will be support on all dates that month. The band will also make a week-long trek of dates along the West Coast in December.

The Album Leaf has been making music since 1999. One year after forming the influential San Diego instrumental group Tristeza, songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Jimmy LaValle founded The Album Leaf, a solo studio project turned full-fledged live band. The diversity of The Album Leaf’s music is second only to the diversity of the music that has inspired LaValle through the years – the artist has named everything from German Ambient/pysch bands like Can, Cluster and Harmonia to traditional mariachi music, electronic music and Brian Eno as some of his primary influences.
