BEL has returned with new single,”Fresh Start.” The track was Produced by Jason Vance Harris. Along with the news, Bel (née: Isabel Whelan) has announced her signing with Nettwerk (Alice Phoebe Lou, Matt Maltese). “Fresh Start” explores the complex emotions tied to significant life changes – the initial melancholy and difficulty of letting go, balanced by the eventual acceptance and optimism that a new beginning brings.

BEL explains, “I wrote it when I was moving out of the apartment I had been living in for three years. I had so many memories attached to it, and I lived within 5 minutes of my best friends. I was about to move to a part of town further away from everything. I was really emotional about it, but my friends knew just how to cheer me up and show me the bright side of it. It’s a song of gratitude for the deep friendships in my life and acknowledging that change can be both painful and beautiful.”

BEL will hit the road this May, supporting Miya Folick for shows in Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. Later in the summer, fans can also see her perform at Bottle Rock Napa Valley and Oceans Calling Festival.
