“Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge” Conner Youngblood

Conner Youngblood has shared his new video for National Bird Day, for his single “Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge”, named after the national wildlife refuge in Utah spanning over 80,000 acres as an oasis for birds migrating across the continent. After hearing about Conner’s fascination with bird watching and their migratory patterns, the US Fish and Wildlife Service and nonprofit Sustain Music & Nature helped Conner make the trip to the sanctuary in Utah where he spent several days studying Western grebes, American avocets and the breathtaking landscapes they migrate through. Conner wrote this song as a reflection of the experience putting the music against a backdrop of footage from his trip for a rare glimpse of the landscape, serene and untainted. Fifty percent of proceeds from the song will go towards supporting the national wildlife refuge system.
