Bear Hands have revealed the video for “Giants,” the lead single off their new album Distraction. The band teamed with director Mark Pellington to make the clip. About his inspiration for the video’s themes, Pellington said, “I wanted to make a sexy noisy pop blast. The energy and weird electric sense of desire and aggressiveness of the track was our theme. Love this band and this piece.”
Bear Hands are currently in the midst of a tour with fellow Brooklynites Miniature Tigers, with support from Total Slacker. The band is also performing at this year’s South By Southwest in Austin, TX. Additionally, the band will play Coachella, Edgefest and Big Guava Music Fest in support of Distraction, as well as dates with Bombay Bicycle Club.
