Beach Slang release single “Young & Alive”

Beach slang share their new single "Young & Alive" from their forthcoming album 'The Things We Do To Find People Like us'

Philadelphia’s Beach Slang recently announced a headlining tour through North America, the UK, and Europe in support of their debut album The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us, out October 30 on Polyvinyl Records. Today, they’ve shared another track off the album, “Young & Alive,” “The track starts off with a high intensity and builds to something even bigger: the drums sound stadium-ready, the riff deep and intense. It’s affirming, as all of the Philadelphia band’s songs are, but in a darker and more direct way. It takes in all the anger, frustration, and confusion that comes with youth, and spits that back out with raging fire.”

Since first releasing music, feedback has ranged from “it’s teaching me how to love (music) again” and “anyone not listening to Beach Slang is making bad life choices” to “I listened to the first song in my car and burst out laughing, just…”F**K YES” kind of laughter,”as well as “I would rather see Beach Slang than a Replacements reunion anytime,” and finally,”God this is a fierce record.”
