Baroness return to North America this spring, confirming their first national tour since the release of the band’s latest release and fourth album, Purple, now out on their Abraxan Hymns label.

The tour, which includes stops at the Sasquatch, Project Pabst and Shaky Knees festivals, kicks off on April 29 at the Royale in Boston before wrapping up at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on June 3. Baroness is in the midst of a five-week European trek, which triumphantly launched in the city of the band’s now infamous 2012 bus accident, Southampton.

The Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev) produced album Purple was released on December 18th via the band’s own Abraxan Hymns label.
