bar italia, the London based trio of Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi and Sam Fenton, have announced their signing with Matador Records roster. Today, the UK trio have shared their first new music for the label, with the single “Nurse!”.

The band play a run of UK and European headline shows in May, including the ICA in London on May 25th, and will appear at festivals this summer including Primavera Sound Barcelona & Madrid, Latitude, Midi Festival and End Of The Road. A list of upcoming live dates can be found below.

Over the last couple of years, bar italia have released two albums and an EP on Dean Blunt’s World Music label, as well as several singles. Throughout 2022 they have performed at festivals including Pitchfork Music Festival London, by:Larm, OUT.FEST, Le Guess Who?, and End Of The
Road, in addition to a run of their own headlining shows.
