The Avalanches release new single “Subways”
Today, The Avalanches unveiled the lucid dreamscape “Subways,” a glimpse into a dazzling psychedelic summertime that will take listeners back to the classic grooves of their 2000 debut album, Since I Left You. Sampling the teenage funk-punk of Chandra’s “Subways” and Graham Bonnet’s version of The Bee Gees’ late period classic “Warm Ride, “Subways” gives fans a third taste of Wildflower, the influential Australian band’s first album in 16 years. Wildflower– set for release on July 8 via Astralwerks in North America.
