Anna Calvi has shared a video for ‘Strange Weather’, the lead single taken from her forthcoming EP of the same name, which is to be released on 14th July 2014. The accompanying video was filmed in New York by Alan Del Rio Ortiz and can be watched here. Listen to “Suddenly” above.

Anna Margaret Michelle Calvi is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist. Originally from Twickenham, Calvi began playing guitar as a child and studied music in college. To date, she has released two LPs and the upcoming EP Strange Weather, which was produced by Thomas Bartlett and recorded in New York, features covers of tracks by Suicide, David Bowie, FKA twigs, Connan Mockasin and Keren Ann. “Strange Weather,” a cover of the Keren Ann track, is a collaboration between Anna Calvi and David Byrne, and will be released on 14th July 2014 and will be available on 12” and limited edition CD.

Anna Calvi will be playing live over the next few months in support of Strange Weather as well as her acclaimed sophomore album One Breath, with UK shows at Isle of Wight, Latitude and Green Man Festivals, with more festival dates to be announced soon.
