Angel Olsen announces Songs From The Archive Tour, Olsen will play intimate venues throughout California and the Northeast, including cities that she hasn’t visited in many years. She’s spent the last many years playing throughout the world backed by her band, but for this tour, she will perform solo each night, exploring music from her entire catalog from Strange Cacti to Big Time, including gems she rarely presents with her band.

Over the last few months, Olsen has contributed to a number of significant collaborations. Most recently, she sang on a cover of Lou Reed’s “I Can’t Stand It” off of The Power of the Heart: A Tribute to Lou Reed with Los Angeles singer-songwriter Maxim Ludwig, and on “Dream of You” from her bandmate Stewart Bronaugh’s upcoming Lionlimb album.

Angel Olsen has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold goes to supporting Voter Formation Project and their work increasing participation in elections using digital communications strategies to engage, register, and mobilize new and infrequent voters of color. Since our country’s founding, racist laws and practices have made it difficult or impossible for people of color to vote and have their voices heard.
