Australian band CLAMM, recently announced the release of third album, Serious Acts, arriving May 2nd via Meat Machine (Crack Cloud, NOV3L). Ahead of the album’s arrival CLAMM have shared “And I Try.”

Reflecting on the creation of “And I Try,” CLAMM share, ‘This track was a bit of an experiment for us. We began by layering synthesized metallic loops and organically built the song from there. It introduces a slightly new sonic direction—tense yet spacious. Lyrically, it delves into themes of identity, transformation, and introspection, questioning how we perceive and present ourselves, and the extent of control we truly have over that process.’

CLAMM has played shows with Wolf Alice, Ty Segall, King Gizzard, Amyl & the Sniffers, The Chats, A Place To Bury Strangers and Preoccupations. In May 2023, the band returned for a series of summer festival performances, including Wide Awake, Levitation, and Badd Bonn.
