“America” By sadHAPPY

sadHAPPY, is the Scottish electronic-pop singer/songwriter. The artist recently released “America”, the lead-single off his forthcoming debut EP.
“America” was co-written by sadHAPPY with the song’s producer Lewis Gardiner (who has also co-written for Megan Thee Stallion). He sings: “I guess I’ll leave you in America. I wanna bet it’s easier forgetting ya, out on the road, I gotta go without ya…”

sadHAPPY said: “‘America’ is a song about the first time I went to LA, I was so anxious and worried about life, but as soon as I got there the worries disappeared and I had clarity again. That feeling stayed with me throughout the whole trip. It was written in a way that it could be interpreted differently to the next person, like needing closure from something or someone."

The single follows last year’s releases “Better Everyday” and “You.” The name sadHAPPY is inspired by the juxtaposition of life’s highs and lows, serving as a reminder to embrace both while working towards becoming the best version of yourself.
