Alex Cameron has announced his new LP Late to Set, will drop on July 24th via Production credits include Mark Perkins, Zach Dawes and Maxim Ludwig among others. Ahead of Late To Set‘s arrival, Cameron has shared the single “Red Hook Rain.”

Lead single “Red Hook Rain” is described as Barry Gibb meets Martin Rev. Depeche Mode via a construction site stereo. It’s Cameron at his most heartbroken and hopeful. Written on the edge of a hurricane with the sky shaking like the heads of so many disapproving Gods. For Cameron the tornado is still spinning in New York. And you can talk at him all you want but you can’t make him go back. Even if he wants to.

Along with the news, Cameron has announced an extensive North American headlining tour starting September 10th in Philadelphia, PA that lasts through November. In October, Cameron will join The Strokes in the UK and Europe, before returning to the States to finish out the year.
