Adrianne Lenker presents her new single/video, “Ruined,” and announces 2024 tour dates. On the new single Lenker laments, “Can’t get enough of you // You come around I’m ruined.” The accompanying “Ruined” video was directed by Adrianne’s brother Noah Lenker, and collages gorgeous footage of Lenker in autumnal foliage. It’s a breathtaking mosaic of Lenker soaking in riverbeds, basking in the afternoon sun, and dancing along tree-lined paths.

Of “Ruined,” Lenker says: “This song has been a quiet beacon for me. It may contain the essence of the gift of romantic love but it’s mostly about something much bigger.”

In January, Lenker will teach an online songwriting workshop through School of Song. The course will be taught via live Zoom lectures across 4 consecutive Sundays –– January 7th, January 14th, January 21st, and January 28 –– with 2 lecture sessions on each class day to accommodate different time zones: 11 AM PT and 6 PM PT. The cost of the workshop is $160 total, and a 20% discount is available for those who sign up with a friend. The deadline to sign up is Saturday, January 6th at 11:59 PM PT.

The Big Thief member’s newly announced tour dates include stops across Europe and the UK, including a show at London’s famed Barbican Centre, as well as a performance at the incredible Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee.
