Fresh off the release of their new five-song EP Blue Fairy, a spring run of packed shows supporting Panchiko, and the continued growth of their explosive breakout track “Hello Juliet,” Clarion aren’t slowing down anytime soon. Tonight they play a sold out hometown headline show at The Paramount in Los Angeles before spending the rest of their week in Mesa, AZ for two more packed-out gigs.

Today, Clarion also shares a new song called “JILT” that captures the aftermath of abruptly leaving a relationship behind. Through waves of distortion, the band reframes guilt while still maintaining their own sort of melodic tension that keeps listeners guessing.

Having spent the last few months on the road, Clarion has crowds all over the country. The energy at these shows are on full display in their recent FLOOD Magazine Session, as they perform their mega track “Hello Juliet” to a sweaty and passionate Boston crowd.

Formed in a shared practice space in East LA, Clarion’s driven by the collective brain of Saya Oliva (vocalist/bass, she/her), Anthony Sanchez (guitar, he/him), and touring drummer Javier Flores. Pulling equally from the sounds of Sonic Youth, HUM, Black Flag, Julie, and Fennel, they’re carving out a sound akin to emotional whiplash––and it rules.
