Radio Free Alice have released new single “Rule 31″

Radio Free Alice have released new single “Rule 31,” the track arrives at the conclusion of the band’s European at London’s Scala last week. “Rule 31” was Produced with Peter Katis [Interpol, The National] in Connecticut while touring earlier this year. Radio Free Alice Formed in Gadigal Land/Sydney in 2020 before making the move to Naarm/Melbourne, the group includes Noah Learmonth (vocals, guitar), Jules Paradiso (guitar), Michael Phillips ( bass, saxophone) and Lochie Dowd (drums). In other news, Radio Free Alice have also just announced that they will join Geese for their sold-out February tour of Australia, featuring stops at Sydney, Melbourne & Perth.
“Rule 31 came about during a soundcheck whilst on tour,” frontman Noah Learmonth explains. “The bassline came first and we just built it up from there. We recorded it at Peter’s beautiful house-studio in Connecticut when we had a couple days off from shows.”
The group will return to the UK and Europe next year for a string of festivals, including Tramlines Festival in Sheffield and Truck Festival, Abingdon, both just announced last week.
The band’s EP Empty Words was recorded between Katis in Connecticut and Ali Chant [Dry Cleaning, Perfume Genius, Soccer Mommy] in Bristol & London and includes their popular single “Look What You’ve Done.”
