“say something” by Royel Otis

Royel Otis have shared the music video for their latest track, “say something.” The Australian duo, in their brief yet pithy fashion, simply note: “This is a song about unspoken words.” Cowritten by Royel Otis (Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic) with Billy Walsh (Post Malone, The Weeknd) and producer Omer Fedi (Lil Nas X, The Kid LAROI), “say something”is a simple, upbeat, shimmery track about yearning and miscommunication.

The accompanying music video shows the duo traversing through a cloudy, melancholic day, riding on the top of different modes of transportation and catching the winds. It’s understated yet cool—much like the single it features.

“say something” is the third promotional single for their upcoming record, hickey, out on August 22 via OURNESS / Capitol Records. The band previously released “car” and “moody.”
