The anticipation for this single has steadily built over 2023 after Shake previewed it at a series of performances this year that include Coachella, SXSW, and Governors Ball. Ken has cited his admiration for Shake in a handful of interviews throughout the year, building further excitement for this collaboration. “Natural Habitat” follows the album’s lead single, “Black Dress,” Shake’s first solo single of 2023.
