Thundercat shares visuals for “Dragonball Durag”, the latest single from It Is What It Is, out April 3rd via Brainfeeder. Directed by Zack Fox, the new video features cameos from HAIM, Kali Uchis and comedian Quinta Brunson. On a sunny day in Los Angeles, Stephen Bruner finds the titular durag and puts it on, gaining the confidence of a true Super Saiyan. With this durag on, Thundercat hilariously unleashes his newfound mojo. His attempts to charm the ladies with song and dance never quite work, but it never dulls his spirit. The new video arrives just before Thundercat sets off on his 25-date tour of North America.

“The durag is a superpower, to turn your swag on… it does something, it changes you,” says Bruner. “If you have one in the wardrobe, think about wearing it tonight, and it may pop off because you never know what’s going to happen.”
