Sam Tudor and his band are hitting the road in May for a run of dates across Canada. The band will be touring in support of their current release Quotidian Dream, starting May 1st in Kamloops, BC.

About Sam Tudor:

Sam Tudor’s 2014 album “The Modern New Year” got tucked into the airwaves of campus radio stations across the country, quietly earning him the beginnings of a cult following for his lo-fi pop music. Soon after, Sam began playing with his now distinctive live band, featuring Tegan Wahlgren, Jasper Wrinch and Harry Tudor. Together they create warm, psychedelia tinged pop music. Their new album Quotidian Dream was the bands first real unified statement, fully displaying Sam’s poignant songwriting and the bands compelling experimental leanings. It felt like something new. Up until now, the band has only done a handful of small, weeklong tours , as if testing the waters from their hometown of Vancouver. As of today we are pleased to announce Sam Tudor’s first ever Cross Canada tour (in support of Quotidian Dream). The tour goes as far as Montreal, hitting almost every major city in between including Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Toronto and more. It ends with a homecoming show in Vancouver on June 15th. It also includes a selection of smaller house concerts in smaller towns. This makes sense, considering the ways in which Sam’s live show moves between loud intensity and quiet intimacy – this is a group equally as comfortable in a candlelit living room as they are onstage in a major club.
