Of Monsters & Men, Frankie Cosmos, and Kevin Morby have been added to Iceland Airwaves 2016 aside 24 more acts. These artists join PJ Harvey, Julia Holter, múm with Kronos Quartet, Torres, and Warpaint.

Each Iceland Airwaves sees artists from all over the world perform in Reykjavík; the festival encourages this diversity by running an open submission to play the festival. Artist applications are now online on the festival website.
