"you won't see me cry" by ephemerals

“you’ll never see me cry” is the first single to be taken from ephemerals forthcoming new album chasin ghosts.

chasin ghosts is the follow up to the bands 2014 breakthrough album nothing is easy and looks set to further build on the fast growing UK and international fan base that saw them tour their debut extensively, including shows at key UK festivals like Glastonbury, Bestival and Mostly Jazz.

Writer and band leader Hillman Mondegreen met singer Wolfgang Valbrun while touring his previous band in France and having heard his voice Mondegreen knew they had to work together. He wrote some songs with Wolf in mind and pitched him to form ephemerals bringing together the rest of the band from his extensive network of player contacts.

“you’ll never see me cry” is a soaring piano soul anthem which pairs up lead singer Wolf’s emotive vocals with keys man James Graham’s incredible piano playing.

Singles from the bands debut album nothing is easy were playlisted on 1Xtra in the UK and received extensive play on Radio 1 / 6Music and Radio 2 – a formidable spread of support for a debut act. In January 2015 their second single you made us change hit number 1 on hype machine after a series of key blogs highlighted their potential.

ephemerals release “you’ll never see me cry” on 30th October with shows in London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin and Paris leading to a full UK tour at the end of October and a full European tour in January.
